Bhubaneswar: India on Wednesday successfully test-fired short-range ballistic missile ‘Pralay’ from from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast.
According to reports, the missile with a strike range of 350-500 km has payload up to 1000kg.
The solid-fuel, battlefield missile developed by Defence Research Development Organisation is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from the Indian ballistic missile programme.
