Paris: Swapnil Kusale secured India’s medal at the Paris Olympics by winning a bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions event on Thursday.
During the final of the 50m rifle 3 positions event, Swapnil Kusale ranked sixth with a score of 153.3 at the conclusion of the kneeling stage. However, by the end of the prone stage, he advanced to fifth place with a cumulative score of 310.1, just 0.6 points behind Serhiy Kulish of Ukraine, who was in third place.
In the initial five shots of the standing round, Kusale scored 51.1, climbing to fourth place and coming within 0.4 points of the third position.
