Koraput: On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, the Koraput district administration discussed with the Private Bus Owners’ Association and the Employees’ Association.
Due to the dispute between the two unions, bus services in the district were disrupted and passengers were facing difficulties. As a result of the discussion between both unions, the bus service has now become normal in Koraput district.
The Chief Minister advised the Transport Department, both Union and District administrations to always prioritize the interests of common passengers.
There was a heated argument broke out between both parties over bus timing on Friday. Following the development, Private Bus Employees’ Association decided to halt the bus service in protest.
Members of the Employees’ Association want the conflict to be resolved soon before resuming the bus service. As a result of the protest, bus service has been severely disrupted on 40 routes in the district.
