Qatar: The 2022 FIFA World Cup draw was held in Qatar on Friday, and there was drama aplenty, with the United States placed with England, Mexico meeting Argentina, Spain getting Germany and Portugal in a group with Uruguay and Ghana.
The draw is complete and the big news coming in is former World Cup winners Spain and Germany getting drawn together in Group E. Holders France are in Group D, while five-time winners Brazil are in Group G. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal find themselves in Group H, while Lionel Messi’s Argentina are in Group C.
