New Delhi: The global technology services titan Accenture on Friday announced the promotion of two top executives, including Arundhati Chakraborty from Bengaluru, to group chief executive of Accenture operations, starting September 1.
Chakraborty will succeed Yusuf Tayob, who is set to become the chair of the global communications, media & technology (CMT) industry practices at Accenture, according to the company’s announcement.
“Arundhati is tasked with expanding the company’s $10 billion Operations business and introducing even more innovation to Accenture’s clientele, leveraging the extensive possibilities presented by generative AI (GenAI) and automation,” the announcement stated, noting that clients are seeking to transform their operations through technology, data, and AI.
Chakraborty, with over three decades of industry experience, currently serves as the global head of delivery and transformation, operations, leading a workforce of 185,000 across over 125 intelligent operations centres. Her focus is on accelerated transformation via analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
