Balasore: The bail pleas of nine accused persons arrested in connection with the JE Civil Main Written Exam question paper leak case have been rejected today.
The bail applications of the accused were filed in the OPID court. Based on the arguments of the public prosecutor, Hon’ble Judge Biswajit Das rejected the bail of all 9 accused.
On the other hand, Balasore Police has brought the accused persons on a 5-day remand and interrogation is reportedly underway.
A special team has been formed by SP Sagarika Nath to find out the loophole from where the question paper came was leaked and identify the source.
On the other hand, two police teams are carrying out investigations in 2 states outside Odisha to trace the masterminds. In addition, five more teams have been formed in the district for more investigation.
SP Sagarika Nath said has said that the mastermind behind the question paper leak racket will be arrested soon.

According to information, 88 job aspirants and 9 brokers were arrested from the Talasari area on 16th July by Balasore Sahadevkhunta police station. Police arrested 9 brokers and confiscated original educational certificates and blank checks of some aspirants. The job aspirant was released after interrogation.
In this incident, 303/23 case was registered by the police apprehended four brokers from Bihar state, one from Andhra Pradesh state and four from Odisha.
The hearing on the bail application of all the accused in the Chit Fund court was held today, but the court dismissed the bail pleas.
