New Delhi: Congress Party is expected to have a new leader in the Lok Sabha and Rahul Gandhi is claimed to be a top contender for the job.
However, is nothing official about it because Gandhi is yet to agree to this.
If Rahul accepts the role, he will be taking on the job which is currently Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s. The possible replacement could be Manish Tewari or Shashi Tharoor.
As the monsoon session of Parliament is nearing, the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is likely to be replaced.
