Bhubaneswar: At least three persons were killed and several others sustained injuries in road accidents occurred in different places today due to dense fog across the state.
Asika: Two persons were killed as bus hit scooter at College Chhak under Kotinada police station in Ganjam district.
Daspalla: Three persons including the driver were injured after bus driver lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a field near Salbhanga under Banigochha police station in Nayagarh.
Rayagada: One person died and and another became critical after the bike crashed into a tree near Laxmipur Barigaon Chhak in Rayagada district.
Kamakhyanagar: Two persons sustained injuries in a collision between a bus and a dumper near the Brahmani bridge at Tumusinga, Kamagara in Dhenkanal district.
Soro: As many as 16 students were injured as a travera and a truck collided head on with each other in Balasore district.
Bhadrak: One person was killed and another injured as two trucks collided with each other at Dhamara-Basudevpur road near Habali chhack in Bhadrak.
