Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of 5 labourers in a road accident in Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri today and announced Rs. 3 lakh ex gratia for the kin of the deceased persons.
The Odisha CM also expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased labourers. All the deceased workers are from Kosagumuda area of Nabarangpur district.
Further, the Chief Minister has ordered to provide free medical treatment to the 8 injured persons and wished them a speedy recovery.
A fatal road accident took place this morning at Hantalguda Ghat road in Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district. Five people lost their lives when a cement-laden tipper truck overturned. The accident took place when the tipper was en route to Jodamba from Chittrakonda.
