Jharsuguda: A bike rider was killed in an accident on NH 49 in Amarah village under Belpahar Tehsil in Jhasuguda. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
A road mishap occurred while the bike hit a heavy vehicle on the road. Due to dense fog, the bike rider couldn’t notice the vehicle and crashed into it. As a result, he died on the spot.
On intimation, police rushed to the spot and seized the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched into this matter.
