Gop (Puri): The low pressure system over West Central Bay of Bengal triggered heavy and incessant rains in Puri district, resulting in a wall collapse incident.
According to reports, a huge portion of a mud wall of a house of Bijayananda Mohanty of Mahapur village under Gop block of Puri district collapsed due to continuous downpours.
Fortunately, no one was injured when the mud wall caved in. Besides, the family is hopeful for relief from the District Administration.
