Gopalpur: A fisherman was killed as a traditional fishing boat capsized in the Gopalpur sea in Ganjam district in the wee hours of Saturday.
As per sources, the incident occurred when three fishermen had gone to catch fish into the sea. Suddenly the boat overturned and one of them met watery grave, while the other two fishermen managed to save their lives.
The body has been fished out and sent for post-mortem. The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained.
