Malkangiri: Two persons riding a bike were killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle on the National Highway no. 326 near MV 96 in Malkangiri. The deceased have not been identified yet.
As per reports, the road mishap occurred while an unknown vehicle dashed into the bike on the highway. As a result, the two bike riders died on the spot.
The incident came to light on Saturday. Locals first spotted the dead bodies and informed the Kalimela police. The police rushed to the spot and seized the bodies for post-mortem.
An investigation has been launched in this matter. The exact cause of the accident will be known after the investigation, police said.
