Kendrapara: A youth sustained severe injuries after he was attacked by a crocodile in Brahmani river near Nimpur village of Kendrapara district on Saturday.
Reportedly, the youth had gone to the banks of river Brahmani today morning to attend nature’s call when a crocodile dragged him deep into the water. He, however, managed to have a narrow escape after valiantly putting up a fight with the crocodile for a few minutes in the river.
Hearing his screams, locals reached the spot and rushed him to Pattamundai Community Health Centre.
