Bhubaneswar: Government leaders and health officials have expressed their concern that coronavirus could rapidly spread due to the violators of the restrictions induced by the deadly coronavirus.
Earlier, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has found that the rise in the number of coronavirus patients was mainly due to gross violation of social distancing norms.
The spurt in the number of COVID-19 cases was witnessed after people started coming here from hotspot districts with restrictions being eased.
As many as 419 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area till Wednesday midnight.
Similarly, 112 COVID-19 positive cases were reported on Thursday in Cuttack City, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) informed.
