Bhubaneswar: Laxmisagar police have arrested two persons for allegedly smuggling illicit country liquor in the Smart city Bhubaneswar.
The arrestees have been identified as Shankar Behera (32) of Tala Sahi under local police station limits and Anil Mohanty (24) of Bharatpur police limits.
As per reports, police conducted a raid and caught the accused red-handed while selling illicit liquor amid shut down. The cops also seized foreign liquor from their possession.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway to trace the other accused involved in the illegal business.
