LoP Jayanarayan Mishra Appears Before Special ADJ Court In Dileswar Sahu Murder Case

Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition Jayanarayan Mishra on Friday appeared before special ADJ court in Bhubaneswar connection with the murder of BJD worker Dileswar Sahu.

The Court granted him bail based on the condition set by the High Court.

The ADJ court directed him to adhere to the restrictions imposed on him. Notably, he violated the conditions of the court and indulged himself in various criminal activities.

Mishra appeared in the special ADJ court for the the time after the matter was transferred from Sohela court.

In 2018 Bijepur by-election, BJD MLA Sushant Singh’s driver dileswar and brother Subrat Sahu along with some other BJD workers had faced murderious attack. Dileswar was shot dead in the attack. Police had arrested 13 including Jaynarayan after registering case under section 302, 307,147, 148,341,294,323,325,336,427,506 of IPC and Arms Act.

Police had arrested Mishra from his residence in Sambalpur and sent him to jail.
