Angul: Forest department personnel in Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary in Angul district of Odisha recovered two decomposed elephant carcasses.
According to reports, local villagers spotted the carcasses near Jagannathpur village inside the forest range.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the elephants died due to electrocution after coming in contact with high-tension live wire. Apparently, the elephants died around four days back.
