Rayagada: In a tragic incident, a woman has been allegedly beaten to death by his husband at a village under Doraguda police limits in Rayagada district.
The deceased has been identified as Safai Majhi, while the husband has been identified as Maliki Majhi.
According to reports, the Safai and Maliki got engaged in a violent domestic quarrel related during which the husband lost control and beat up his wife resulting in her death.
On being informed, police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. The husband and two others have been arrested in connection with the crime and are being interrogated.
