Malkangiri: A woman Maoist, Ungi Madvi, who carried a reward of Rs 1 lakh on her head, surrendered before the Malkangiri Superintendent of Police in Odisha on Wednesday.
Ungi has been involved in multiple violent works both in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. About 48 cases have been registered against her in various police stations in both the states.
Today, Ungi has surrendered before the Malkangiri SP, at the district police headquarters saying she wished to lead a normal life.
