Gajapati: Two labourers were killed after being crushed under a huge boulder during stone blasting at Bandhaguda quarry under Gajapati’s Mohana police limits on Friday night. The deceased have been identified as Narayan Nahak and Bishnu Nahak from Jharedi village in Ganjam district.
After getting information about the mishap, a team of firefighters arrived at the spot and launched a rescue operation to retrieve the bodies which are still trapped at the site.
Meanwhile, the police have launched a probe in connection with the incident.
