Kalahandi: Two persons were killed due to electrocution while another was critical near Kandhasulim area under Biswanathpur police station in Kalahandi district.
The deceased persons have been identified as Kanga Majhi (48) of Kamkurunja village and Tingu Majhi (42) of Danikapel village in the district. The injured is Dange Majhi of Danikapel.
As per reports, on Sunday, the three persons were walking on the road when an electrical wire broke down and fell on the road. Unaware of this, they came into contact with the wire. As a result, they were critically injured.
They were immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre, Biswanathpur, where, Kanga and Tingu were declared dead. Dange was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bhawanipatna.
