Cuttack: The traffic arrangements were reported dangerous at the Badambadi-link road in Cuttack. Lack in traffic management is adding problems for the commuters travelling through Badambadi-Link road area. However, it is being alleged the traffic police are not giving any priority these problems.
On the other hand, the Buses and the auto rickshaws also do not have specific pickup point. Following this the drivers pick up passengers from the middle of the road causing inconvenience for other travellers.
Though several bus though several bus tops are allotted in the Badambadi area, it is claimed that people are creating their own stands at the roadside. Similarly, people were spotted crossing roads by jumping dividers. Following which mishaps are increasing day by day.
Even after in the surveillance of the traffic police, people are not obeying the traffic rules, sources said.
