Subarnarekha Water Level Crosses Danger Mark

Balasore: The Water level of the river Subarnarekha crossed the danger mark due to heavy rainfall in Jharkhand and West Bengal areas.

Reportedly, the water level increased to 10.36 metres near Rajghat. Moreover, the flood water has entered five low-lying villages in the area. Following continuous rainfall has caused a flood-like situation for the residents near Subarnarekha River.

Due to the flooding in the Subarnarekha River, water is flowing into the plains through ditches and pits. As a result, the flood situation is getting worse.
