Jharsuguda: Police today detained another man in connection with the much sensational abduction and murder of minor boy Samarth Agrawal in Jharsuguda.
A team of Jharsuguda police detained the man from Burla who is a fourth grade employee of VIMSAR. He is being questioned, police said.
The two prime accused Amit and Dinesh had kept the minor boy at the house of the man who has been detained, police said.
Police have stepped up measures to trial the case in a first track court. The investigation has been intensified according, police said.
Samarth Agrawal, a 15-year-old boy from Jharsuguda was kidnapped and murdered by Amit Sharma and Dinesh Agrawal, the two accused arrested on Wednesday wee hours. Both had demanded Rs 50 lakh as ransom against the head of the minor boy.
The accused killed the teenager before family of the boy arranged the money they had demanded as ransom.
