Bhubaneswar: Police have arrested four persons of a family for allegedly committing theft in the state capital Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The arrestees have been identified as Dipu Singh (25), Rabi Singh (25), Sushant Singh (24), and Raja Singh (20), a resident of Patharband Slum near Tiger club.
According to available information, the accused used to commit theft by using stolen bikes.
Acting on reliable input, Saheed Nagar police conducted a raid at the spot and manage to nab the accused. The cops also seized four bikes from their possession.
During interrogation, the accused failed to produce valid documents of the vehicles and confessed to their crime. There are several pending cases in the different police stations, police informed.
A case has been registered under relevant Sections of the IPC and the accused were forwarded to court, police said.
