The promising teaser of the Shaji Kailas directorial suggests that the multi-starrer is set in the backdrop of Kerala’s capital city Thiruvananthapuram, and its culture. The 1.09 minutes teaser revolves around the gang wars in Thiruvananthapuram’s heartland, which even affects the innocent lives who are in no way connected with it. The Kaapa teaser first introduces its viewers to the characters played by Dileesh Pothan, Nandu, and Jagadish.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has some highly promising projects in the pipeline, including Vilayath Buddha, Aadujeevitham, Gold, Salaar, Kaaliyan, and others. The actor-filmmaker is also set to start the pre-production works of his third directorial venture L2: Empuraan, the sequel to his directorial debut Lucifer, very soon. The movie, which features Mohanlal in the lead role, is expected to go on floors by the first half of 2023.
