Aska: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik on Thursday made a scathing attack on opposition while addressing a massive election meeting in Aska Parliamentary constituency in Ganjam district.

After campaigning for his candidates in Berhampur Lok Sabha segment, the BJD supremo then attended a huge public meeting in Aska.

The Chief Minister has slammed the opposition on various issues pertaining to the development of Odisha.
The opposition parties are only shedding crocodile tears for the State, the BJD supremo said.

Highlighting the successful implementation of various welfare schemes of his Government, the Chief Minister appealed to the people to bless the BJD in the ensuing elections to further accelerate the pace of development in the State.

Speaking at the public meeting, senior BJD leader Kartik Pandian said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s political journey began from Aska. Women have also joined the political journey. The BJD has nominated 5 women candidates in the Aska parliamentary constituency. Everyone talks about women empowerment, but Naveen Babu, who started his political journey from here, always does what he says.

The BJD star campaigner said that the opposition parties prepare false manifestos. A few days before, the Congress released the manifesto, but even its own party leaders did not believe in it. In the 2014 manifesto, the BJP promised to reduce all prices. Even in 2019 manifesto, the BJP repeated the lie. This time also, the BJP has made a false manifesto, he said.

He further informed that the manifesto of BJD will come out this evening. The manifesto will accelerate the development of Odisha. The people of Odisha will also be happy to see the BJD manifesto, Kartik Pandian added.
