Odisha Reports 66 COVID-19 Cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload on Monday surged to 3,38,258 after 66 more people tested positive for the infection, according to the State I&PR department.

The new cases were detected in 14 of the 30 districts of Odisha, with 39 reported from different quarantine centres and 27 local contact cases.

Most of the Covid-19 cases were reported from Bargarh district, followed by Khurda at 9, Mayurbhanj at 8.

Here’s the district-wise break-up of new cases:

2. Balasore: 5
3. Bargarh: 10
4. Cuttack: 5
5. Ganjam: 2
6. Jajpur: 6
7. Jharsuguda: 4
8. Khurda: 9
9. Mayurbhanj: 8
10. Nayagarh: 1
11. Nuapada: 1
12. Sambalpur: 3
13. Sundargarh: 7
14. State Pool: 2

It also reported the highest number of 91 patients recovering from the highly-infectious disease on the day, taking the total number of persons cured from Covid-19 in the state to 3,35,660.

The state currently has 627 active COVID-19 cases.
