Koraput: Tension ran high at Milasahi under Borigumma police limits of Koraput district on Friday after the dead body of a man was found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Netranand Das.
According to reports, the incident came to the fore after some locals spotted the body and informed, the police about the same.
On being alerted, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that Netranand might have committed suicide due to a family feud.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
