Mayurbhanj: In a tragic incident, a young couple was found hanging from a tree at Dhansul village under Rasagobindapur police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Baula Singh (20) and Sima Singh (18), both residents of Darkholi village.
Reportedly, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the lifeless bodies of the youth and young woman and alerted the police about the same.
Cops reached the spot and recovered the bodies for post-mortem. An investigation has been initiated in this regard.
Though the actual reason behind the death remained unknown, it is being suspected that they might have committed suicide after being unable to secure permission from the families for marriage.
