IAS Reshuffle In Odisha: Three Districts Get New Collectors

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday effected a reshuffle in the IAS cadre by transferring four IAS officers and assigning them new tasks at different positions.

With this strategic reshuffle, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Puri districts got new Collectors and Cuttack Municipal Corporation got a new Commissioner.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department, 2011-batch IAS officer, Ashish Thakare who is presently the Collector of Mayurbhanj district, has been appointed as Balasore Collector.

Similarly, 2016-batch IAS officer Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, the present Collector of Balasore district, has been appointed as the Collector of Mayurbhanj.

Besides, 2014-batch IAS officer, Siddharth Shankar Swain,  incumbent CMC Commissioner, has been posted as the new Collector of Puri district.

Similarly, 2012-batch IAS officer, Bijay Kumar Dash, present Collector of Puri, has been transferred and posted as the new Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
