Ganjam: A Gram Rojgar Sevak was stabbed by some miscreants on village road in Ganjam district on Friday.
The incident occurred on Kalamba-Antarpada road in Sankuru village under Beguda police station limits in the district.
As per reports, some miscreants stabbed the GRS on the road while he was on duty. As a result, he sustained injuries in his legs. After stabbing, the miscreants fled from the spot.
The GRS was rescued by the locals and admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police on receiving information rushed to the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
