External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar Addresses Editors Meet

Bhubaneswar: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar Saturday reached Bhubaneswar for his 2-day visit to Odisha. Jaishankar addressed Editors Meet and interacted with Editors of various media houses in Bhubaneswar.

Jaishnakar said, “India needs strong leadership and strong government for international issues.” He added that “in Canadian politics, Khalistani forces have been given a lot of space and have been allowed to indulge in activities which I think are damaging the relationship.”

Dr Jaishankar will attend a party workers’ meeting in Cuttack the next day. He is scheduled to attend various programmes in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur. He will take part in a similar event in Cuttack on May 5.

This will be the first visit of Jaishankar to Odisha. The national president of BJP JP Nadda is also coming on May 5. He is scheduled to meet party leaders in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. This will be the second visit of Nadda within a week.

With only days left for the first phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha, the BJP has lined up its star campaigners to undertake an aggressive campaign in the state.
