Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is most likely to investigate the financial transaction of lady blackmailer Archana Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand.
Speculation of investigation by ED cropped up after the former sought the FIR copy of Nag-Chand couple from the police.
According to sources, the ED has also started process in this regard. It has recently convened a meeting over the investigation. The agency would try to the extract information regarding the sources of such huge money in the bank accounts of the couple.
It is alleged that many political bigwigs and influential people who were honey-trapped by the woman have given the huge amount.
The Commisionerate of Police had arrested Archana on October 6 and her husband on October 22 on charges of honey trapping bigwigs and extorting huge amounts from them.
It is worth mentioning that the couple had on Sunday met each other inside the jail. They were allowed to meet for 15 minutes.
