Bhadrak: The polling officer of booth-139, who was rushed to SCB hospital in Cuttack yesterday following illness, died during treatment today.
The deceased has been identified as Natabar Munda. He was working as Assistant Teacher at Olanga Nodal UP School in Bhadrak district.
According to sources, Munda, who posted at polling booth no 139 along with other polling staff had suddenly fallen ill yesterday night following which his family members rushed him to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
After his health condition worsened, Munda was shifted to the SCB hospital where he breathed his last this morning.
