Bhubaneswar: The increase in the number of dengue cases, along with the pandemic is a cause of concern for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

As per reports, at least 50 dengue cases have been detected within the last few days from Chandrasekharpur and Niladri Vihar areas creating an atmosphere of fear among the denizens.

Meanwhile, as many as 6 cases of Dengue were reported from Sailashree Vihar and Kalpana areas in Bhubaneswar, Odisha Health Director Informed.

Likewise, some cases were also found in the slum areas. However, no death cases were reported so far.

As part of curbing the spread of dengue, the BMC authorities have initiated sanitation measures throughout the city. Huge disinfection and wastewater management mechanisms have been intensified in the slum areas of the city.
