Choudwar: The police seized a vehicle carrying nine cows on National Highway no. 55 near Chaulia bridge in Cuttack on Tuesday.
The police intercepted the vehicle in which the cows were being illegally trafficked and rescued at least nine cows from its container.
The driver of the vehicle was detained by the police for questioning in this connection. Further investigation is underway.
