Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has directed the Dattamohapatra Nijog to conduct the Banakalagi ritual of Lord Jagannath tomorrow (Wednesday).
The SJTA also said that strict disciplinary action will be taken in case of non-compliance.
Daitapati Nijog Secretary Ramakrushna Dasmohapatra informed the Banakalagi ritual of Lord Jagannath will be held tomorrow by the Dattamohapatra Nijog.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma today held discussions with Dattamohapatra Nijog regarding the smooth conduct of the Banakalagi ritual of Lord Jagannath.
SJTA Chief Ranjan Kumar Das also held discussions with members of the Temple Managing Committee and Daitapati Nijog regarding the same.
