Bhubaneswar: Due to the limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines, the Odisha government has prioritized vaccination of the 18 to 44 years age group in five municipal corporation areas of the state, having a high positivity rate.
While COVID-19 vaccination is underway in Bhubaneswar, 1 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine, which reached Odisha on Saturday, have been distributed in four municipality areas- Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, and Berhampur.
However, there will be no vaccination in the districts of Balasore and Deogarh and no sessions have been planned in these two districts for tomorrow, sources informed.
According to reports, availability of vaccine in the state on May 9th are:

- Covaxin (GoI): 3,42,300
- Covaxin (Odisha): 1,06,280
