Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday received another 1 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine at Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 2 PM on Saturday.
The State government had placed an initial order for 3.77 crore Covishield doses and 10.34 lakh doses of Covaxin for 1.93 crore people aged between 18 and 44 years and requested the manufacturers to supply the same at the earliest.
Notably, the Phase III of Covid-19 vaccination for people of the 18-44 age group, which was scheduled to kick start on May 1, was launched in Bhubaneswar on May 3. At least 6,420 beneficiaries were administered the first dose of Covaxin in the State capital.
