Bhubaneswar: Three persons were killed while two have sustained critical injuries in the state due to Norwester (Kalbaisakhi) induced thunderstorms and lightning.
Reportedly, nine districts were mostly been affected by the storms induced by Kalbaisakhi. Those are Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Keonjhar, Angul, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal.
On the other hand, the weather department has predicted that Kalbaisakhi may occur in 10 more districts where the thunderstorm is likely to occur.
Notably, the weather will remain dry from noon of April 8 to the afternoon of April 10.
