Nayagarh: At least five persons sustained critical injuries as the van they were travelling in dashed into an electric pole near Saliagochha in Nayagarh district on Thursday.
According to reports, the accident occurred while the van driver lost control over the wheels of the vehicle due to its high speed and crashed into a roadside electric pole. As a result, five persons including the driver were seriously injured.
The injured persons were admitted to the hospital. They are said to be in critical condition. On intimation, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
