Jajpur: Two bike riders were killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle at Badachana overbridge in Jajpur district on Monday.
As per reports, the accident occurred while the two persons were on their way to Chandikhol from Cuttack. At the Badachana overbridge, the vehicle hit them and they fell from their bike. After this, the vehicle ran over them. As a result, they died on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot after hitting the bike. On intimation, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. The dead bodies have been sent to the Badachana CHC for post-mortem.
