Sky Force: Akshay Kumar to Shed Lights on India’s First, Deadliest Air Strike

Mumbai: The wait is over as Akshay Kumar announced the release date of his most anticipated film ‘Sky Force’ on the occasion of the Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti.

To mark this day, Bollywood’s Khiladi shared an intriguing video beginning with a speech of Muhammad Ayub Khan, then President of Pakistan as a voiceover and the text reads ‘6th September 1965′ India – Pakistan War’ on screen followed by a clip of Lal Bahadur Shastri addressing people.

Sharing the video, he wrote, ”Today on the day of Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti, the whole country is saying – Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Science, Jai Research. No better day than today to announce the incredible story of #SkyForce: Our untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike.”

Also, he urged people to shower love on this film. As soon as the announcement was made, his fans flooded into his comment section offering their love, anticipation and appreciation. 

‘SkyForce’ is an untold true story of the bravery, emotion, and patriotism of all those men in uniform involved in India’s first and deadliest airstrike against Pakistan, against all odds during former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri’s tenure.

The film is directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, and co-produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik.
