Russian Nationals’ Death In Odisha: Crime Branch interrogates Ambulance, Hotel Staff

Rayagada: While the death of two Russian nationals is still shrouded in mystery, the Odisha Crime Branch sleuths on Tuesday interrogated the Ambulance staff who had taken Vladimir Bidanov to the hospital.

According to sources, CB DSP Sarojkant Mahanta, inspector Mamatarani Panda and other personnel quizzed the Ambulance staff identified as Rabi Himirika, Nalini Bidika and Shiba Prasad Nimala at the hotel. Some of the hotel employees were also interrogated today.

The Crime Branch officers have reportedly collected details about the turn of events after the Russian national Vladimir fell ill and was taken to the hospital.

In order to unravel the mystery behind the death of the Russian Nationals at a hotel in Rayagada, the Crime Branch has been probing the case from different angles for the last four days.

On the other hand, the CB has ascertained the post-mortem reports of the deceased Russian tourists and their burnt remains and ashes have been sent to the Bhubaneswar lab for DNA testing.
