Randeep Hooda Impresses With His Drastic Transformation For Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

Randeep Hooda is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The film will be released in theatres on March 22.

The actor posted a shirtless picture, in a new Instagram post on Monday, to highlight his massive body transformation. The actor looked extremely thin in the mirror selfie which he posted.  In the picture, he is seen wearing oversized shorts. In the caption, he wrote: “KAALA PAANI.”

Reacting to the post, fans compared him to actor Christian Bale of Hollywood in The Machinist.

Earlier, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s grandson Ranjit Savarkar expressed his admiration for Randeep’s dedication as he lost 30 kgs for the character in the film. Ranjit also wished the film industry to make more films about Veer Savarkar and other revolutionaries.

Apart from Randeep Hooda, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar also features Ankita Lokhande. The actress will be seen playing the role of Yamunabai—Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s wife.
