PM Modi’s Grand Roadshow In Bhubaneswar Today, Security Tightened, Check Restrictions and Diversions

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a mega roadshow in Odisha’s capital city on Friday evening.

The traffic police have prepared an elaborate plan to manage traffic during the roadshow. A large gathering of Modi supporters is expected for the event which will be held from the State BJP Office to Vanivihar square. Modi will arrive at Bhubaneswar airport at 8 pm and then he will start the grand roadshow.

The roadshow will continue till 9: 30 pm. As per the restrictions, no vehicles are allowed to ply on Janpath Road i.e. from Mastercanteen Square to Vani Vihar from 2 PM till the end of the roadshow.

The Special Protection Force (SPG) on Thursday reviewed the security arrangements. Three teams of SPG personnel checked the 2 KM stretch from Ram Mandir Square to Vani Vihar in close liaison with the Commissionerate Police.

A total of 55 platoons of police force, along with 5 DCPs, 10 Additional DCPs, 27 ACPs, 41 Inspectors, and 180 other officers will be deployed on both sides from Vani Vihar to Master Canteen Square.

The PM will stay at Raj Bhavan tonight and he will address the public meetings in Kandhamal, Bargarh and Bolangir tomorrow.
