Bhadrak: One person was killed and six others sustained critical injuries after the car they were travelling collided with a truck from rear-end in Bhadrak district on Thursday.
The tragic road mishap occurred on National Highway-16 near Gelpur chhak in the district late night yesterday.
As per sources, about seven people were travelling in the Indigo car. They were on the way to attend a feast. On the national Highway, the car rammed into a hyva truck from rear-ends.
All seven occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries. They have been admitted to the hospital. One of the injured died on the way while shifting to the SCB Medical College and Hospital. Further details are awaited.
