Balasore: Miscreants allegedly looted a donation box, ornaments and a copper snake from the Shiv temple in Baghapunji village under Nampo panchayat in Balasore district.
The incident came to the fore when the priest came to the temple in the morning for morning rituals and noticed the lock of the temple gate broken. Afterwards, he found that the copper snake of 20 kg, the donation box and the ornaments missing inside the temple.
On intimation, police reached the scene and initiated a probe into the matter.
